Meet Our Principal – Mrs. Tatum
Julie Tatum is proud to serve as the principal of Oak Creek School, where students, families, and educators come together to create a thriving learning community. With 14 years of experience in education, she has dedicated her career to fostering academic excellence, student growth, and a positive school culture.
Before becoming principal, Mrs. Tatum served as a 1st grade and 2nd grade teacher, gaining valuable experience in curriculum development, student support, and leadership. Her passion lies in creating an inclusive and engaging environment where all students feel valued, supported, and challenged to reach their full potential.
Under her leadership, Oak Creek School emphasizes STEM learning, project-based learning, and agriculture culinary to ensure students receive a well-rounded education that prepares them for future success. Mrs. Tatum believes in the power of collaboration between school, home, and the community and encourages families to stay involved in their child’s educational journey.
Outside of school, she enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, reading, and vacationing, which further fuels her commitment to lifelong learning and personal growth.
